I decided to do my first cover for YouTube and I chose “See You Again” by Charlie Puth.  I went back to Ohio to film it at my parents grave sight and where many of my relatives were buried.  It was very emotional to film it there, and to make it even more difficult, my dog Angel had just died a couple of days before…

People must’ve thought we were crazy because my husband was lying all over the graves shooting the right angles.  He was also driving and filming at the same time while both of us were trying to move together as I sang.  I worked in the studio with my producer on the arrangement the week before.  I had playback so I could sing on my phone in some of the shots and also used a laptop on the roof of the car for others.  We configured a light bounce using a bulletin board with a white table cloth pinned to it on top of a baby seat on top of a camera case…

With this redneck engineering we came out with a video that looked so professional you would think a whole crew was there! Ha!
